SAURABH MOHAN, hearing impaired since birth (Delhi, 1980), enlivens his silent world with the rhythm of colours, the dance of light and an intermingling of textures. Mostly a self-taught artist, he passed his high school art examination from NIOS with distinction. He also completed an Art Conservation course from the National Museum, New Delhi.

Gifted with immense powers of concentration, Saurabh is highly innovative and eloquent in his expression. He got an impetus to his distinctive creations when the prestigious publications SPAN (published by the US govt.), SWAGAT (Indian Airlines), The Times of India and Women’s Era selected him and his work for exclusive features. His abstract paintings, acrylic on canvas, in sizes ranging from a modest 12” X 16” to gigantic 54” X 54” and 96” X 36”, encompass his wonder at creation, a joyous celebration of life and an inner search for a deeper truth.

Saurabh Mohan was elected to the World Art Foundation in 2012.

He is now represented by AGORA GALLERY OF CHELSEA, NEW YORK.
